End-of-Life Services

Individuals and families facing serious or
life-limiting illness can turn to the F·E·G·S Partners in Dignity program to help them face end-of-life challenges with dignity and compassion, and find the emotional, spiritual, and practical assistance they need at a time when they feel most vulnerable.

As Long Island’s Regional Care Center for The Jewish Healing and Hospice Partnership, an initiative of UJA-Federation of New York, F·E·G·S provides meaningful services in a supportive Jewish environment and connects you to a network of UJA-Federation agencies and other resources. Working in cooperation with synagogues and community organizations, F·E·G·S Partners in Dignity provides:

• Care Management – Information, resources, referrals, entitlements counseling, connections to emergency assistance, and advocacy for timely and appropriate care
• Community Education on the multiple options available to those coping with     end-of-life issues
• Bereavement and Pastoral Care Counseling
• Training for Professionals
• End-of-Life Resources for Clergy and Medical Professionals
• Volunteer opportunities
