F·E·G·S outpatient mental health clinics help people develop the life skills they need as they work towards healing, recovery, self-sufficiency, and independence.
Nine counseling centers — located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Long Island — offer adults, children, and families therapy and support to deal with a variety of emotional problems, including: depression; anxiety; trauma reactions; marital and family conflict; self-esteem issues; parenting and relationship issues; grief reactions; HIV-AIDS issues; and substance abuse problems.
The clinics and counseling centers are licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. They are staffed by experienced, licensed professionals who offer a broad spectrum of evaluation and treatment options. Counseling services are available in English, Spanish, and Russian, and include:
